Q: How will I earn income in Iris?

A: You can earn income through Iris in two ways. The first is by directly selling your service using the platform and getting paid by customers. The second is by inviting people to join Iris to become part of your Iris Circle. When you have an active Iris Circle, you earn and accumulate community royalties for every Iris transaction they make.

Q: What kind of services can I sell on Iris?

A: We have 17 general categories that you can choose to nest your service in. These categories are: beauty, business, creative, dance, entertainment, events, general services, health and wellness, music, others, professional services, recreational services, sports, technology, tourism, unique services, and virtual services. Under those, we’ve listed more than 140 subcategories that may fit you. In case you want a new category added, just let us know and we’ll look into it.

Q: How much will I earn by selling my services in Iris?

A: You set the price on your own services on Iris so you basically control how much you can earn. For every service you accept, Iris will charge you a flat 5% service commission. Example, if you list your service at P1,000 then you will be credited P950 which is your net pay. So, you don't have to pay anything directly. Iris automatically deducts that amount from what you earn on your successful bookings. That’s it.

Q: How will I collect my earnings if I sell my services on Iris?

A: You can enroll your Paypal account where all your earnings will be credited. More options will be added in the future.

Q: Will I be able to choose which bookings I accept?

A: Yes. Bookings become active only when you accept them. Acceptance of a booking automatically binds you to the terms that you set on your service package.

Q: When will I get paid for my booked services?

A: Booked services will need to be fulfilled by you as per your schedule and terms. Your payments will be released automatically to your account within one day. However, you may trigger an immediate release by requesting confirmation from your booker in the Iris app after your scheduled service period. This will require confirmation by the booker. Once the booker confirms, only then will the payment held in escrow be released to you. The 5% service commission fee will apply and will be deducted from the credited amount to your account. Example, if your service is listed at P1,000 then you will be credited P950 which is your net pay.

Q: How much can I earn in Community Royalties?

A: The more people you invite to join Iris, the more opportunity you have to earn passive income. When a person you invite into Iris downloads the app and creates an account, they will be asked who invited them as part of the registration process. Once they input your email address associated with your Iris account, they become tagged as part of your Iris Circle. You then can earn passive income through royalties from the bookings and earnings of everyone in your Iris Circle. The moment someone in your Iris Circle has either made a booking or earned a booking, you earn 1% of the service value. To give you a better idea, your royalty income is P10 for every P1,000. The more bookings and earnings your Iris circle makes, the more passive income for you.

Q: How can I join Iris Workshare Community?

A: Download and install the Iris Workshare app on Google Play and create an account, that's it. In the near future, we will be rolling out the iOS Apple version. Also, in the longer term, our service will be mirrored in our website.

Q: Is there a membership fee to join Iris?

A: Iris is absolutely free and you will never be asked to pay any sort of fees to participate.

Q: Are there charges when I book a service on Iris?

A: Yes. Iris only charges you once your booking is accepted by the service provider. Our standard booking service fee is a 10% add-on to the listed price of the service. Example, if the service you are booking is listed at P1,000 then you will be charged P1,100 which includes the add-on service fee.

Q: Can I cancel any booking I made?

A: Yes. Iris will reverse your charges when you cancel, but will retain the 10% booking service fee which is non-refundable. Example, if the service is listed at P1,000 then you would have been initially charged P1,100 but will be refunded only the P1,000.

Q: How do I pay if I decide to book a service on Iris?

A: You can use your credit or debit card. More payment options will be added in the future.

Q: Is Iris a networking scheme or a pyramid scheme?

A: No, Iris is not a networking organization. It is also not a pyramid scheme. Although you have the opportunity to earn passive income in Iris, no membership fee will be collected and you will not be obligated to sell any product or sell a service.

Q: Can I sell products on Iris?

A: No. Iris is meant to be a platform for freelancers and for people seeking freelance services only.
